Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert, born on the 27th of January, 1970, is an American journalist for the broadcast media who was previously an official in the federal government. She was the Spokesperson of the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior fellow in the Hudson Institute, which is a think-tank that is conservative.
Before joining the Department of State she was a Fox News correspondent and news presenter. She also served as the Acting Secretary of State for Foreign Public Relations and Diplomacy during the Trump government, from March 2018 until October 2018. In the year 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and to the White House Commission on White House Fellowships.
